[Horse involved: Ultimate Blessed, Shirahime, Brown Apple, Black Rider]

Kanemoto and Ma were discussing about the newly formed stable inside the office. The horses and the trainers were still training outside at the moment, preparing themselves for the upcoming races. It was the first week of the operation and the horses have been registered into some upcoming races. Both men decided it was best for the horses to get a feel on the local climate and race track right away, make themselves comfortable in the foreign soil. "So, we only got this four horses?" Ma asked, and message translated by the intreprator sitting between the two men, clearly not happy with the amount of horses they had so far. "That is correct, Mr. Ma. I have made further request to the main stable but they did not want to risk flying horses with good record here. The horses with non-competitive results are not worth the flying fee either, so we are in an awkward situation, I believe." Kanemoto replied. "We are heavily eyeing the May sales; patience is virtue. Just a few more months and we should be able to claim more horses." Ma thought for a while silently, then replied with a warm smile, not very happy with the current situation but it would do. "You are lucky to find a patient partner like me. I understand the importance of patience in this sport, just like any form of business, and the sales is exactly why I am here. I will make sure we have enough financial backing from the investors. I am certainly investing a fair amount, if my business doesn't screw me over in the upcoming months." Ma said as he stood to get himself to the window.

The four young horses were going through the gate breaking training at the moment. A few of the horses were not comfortable with the gate and the extra training was warranted. In the first gate hugging the inside was the chilling Ultima Blessed, a preceder susceptible to slow start. The second held Black Rider, who was just there for positioning training and to keep the field crowded. On the third was Shirahime, the rare dominant white horse and the favorite of Kanemoto's sister. The beautiful white maiden was not a fan of being "hamburgered" by horses from both sides, be it inside the gate or on the track, and this filly was the nosiest among the four right now. On the right of her were Brown Apple, who was another filler on the track and one that has zero issue with starting and positioning among the four. As the gate opened up, the horses proceeded to adjust their positioning on the field as quickly as possible after a clean start (this time). It was a 3 to 4 furlongs sprint before the horses were slowed down and brought back into the gate for another go. Their gate position were random on each time, except Shirahime would always be in the middle(so 2 or 3) to get her accustomed to the middle stalls.

"Mr. Ma, I do have some things to discuss with the operation units of the various race tracks later. You can join me if you don't mind taking the extra time working in this leisure Sunday." Kanemoto joined in with Ma on the window, gazing at the hardworking horses in the early morning. "I will have to confirm with my secretary later. I am working either way so, no problem. There are some more reports to go through before that, shall we continue?" His gaze remained with the horses for a little while longer before turning back to his seat. There was still a lot of work to do, but the stable certainly looked fine for now.
