Races close on Mondays at 9PM EST! Our Next Sale Begins: January Y22.
02/05/23 We're almost ready to kick off the New Year here at Final Furlong! The New Years Sale is still OPEN for bids - lots of ponies needing homes! As well, we're hoping to close January Week One races by MONDAY, FEBRUARY 6. However, if we need to extend closing date so more people can get entered, just let us know in the Discord. In addition to getting your pages ready, don't forget to use your bonus points if you'd like!
01/29/23 Congratulations to KENREN for winning the Y21 Breeders' Cup Betting Contest! You've won a breeding reserve to FIFTY DREAMS (Firestone Stud) and 2x 2 furlong extensions + 5 bonus horse points! Lolly finished 2nd, and Cruisey finished 3rd.
12/08/22 The Breeder's Cup Betting Contest will make a return for Y21!!! It'll be a little bit different because of the new points system, but get ready for some end of year fun 😄
11/21/22 Entries for the New Year Sale are now open! We know it seems a bit early, but with life things we're going to need time to make sure things are right lol. Please follow the link here: https://final-furlong.proboards.com/thread/2304/y22-new-year-sale
08/20/22 Judging has been the basis for issues for a long time - taking too long, drama regarding results, bias, etc. Kenren has attempted to put a points system together that keeps the spirit of our system while streamlining and standardizing the process. It's a lot to take in, but once you get in the swing of it, preparing pages with these points takes way less time than doing a layout change lol! If you have any questions, please post them in the judging-help channel on Discord for now. If anyone needs help with anything, please let an admin know! We would like to give everyone one week to get things settled, and then we would like to run July Wk 2 using this system closing 8/27/22 (or earlier if everyone is ready). If it works out, we would like to run two game weeks per RL week to get things moving! Thank you all so much for being her!e
07/27/22 To start July off fresh, we've been playing around with a new theme for Final Furlong! Make sure to check out 'Sonorous' under your profile ❤️ Feel free to use whatever theme works best for yourself. We can't wait to get back to racing!
07/21/22 it's official! We're back! It looks like June Wk 4 was almost fully judged, so make sure you get that updated if you hadn't! We will plan to close the next week (July Wk 1) on Thursday, August 4th. This close day may change, but it's not a bad place to start! For now we'll be doing one game week per RL week to get back into things. Please remember that starting the second half of the year, 3yos can compete against older horses without automatic lower placements.
As an aside, because this is fairly sudden after a whole year, we will not be allowing reclaims on horses for members not currently active for a few months. We will readdress this going forward if needed. Thank you all for understanding!
07/08/22 GO answer the poll ❤️ https://final-furlong.proboards.com/thread/2232/ff-restart-poll

Heeeelo my lovely people. Everyone knows how much CC loves her sprinters but CC's G3 sprinters currently hate her and refuse to grade up no matter how many races they are shoved into. As a result CC now has TEN G3 sprinters and none of them are close to G2, there simply are not enough races for CC to be able to split all these horses up so now CC has to resort to plan B which is: Lease a few of those stubborn G3 ponies out. For your generosity you may have a reserve to the horse you lease out and the lease can be for the season or it could be shorter than a season... or longer... or if you're sick and tired of them they can return to my stable as well... or if you just want them to reach G2 then you can return them. Whatever you wish we can totally do that. They just need to go somewhere else because CC cannot run more than two ponies in a race at a time. All I ask is that you MUST consistently race these horses. The reason why I'm leasing them out is because I can't consistently race them myself.
Without further adue... CC presents the G3 ponios for lease
I raced this mares mom for most of her career and she's a favorite of mine. I want to give her the best chance at getting past this G3 hump I currently have in my stable so I'm hoping she'll blossom under someone elses care who has more time to be consistent with her than I currently do. Leased to Lex
This horse and I have never gotten along very well. Dabbled in HOTY races some in his previous two seasons, didn't do too hot in them but the back class is there. Also very well bred. Needs consistency and someone who is wiling to ride out the out of the money finishes he will be getting until he can find his feet again. Leased to Kenren
6-9 Dirt 4 year Old Stallion I actually really like this horse, he's a pretty consistent dude, will probably excel pretty quickly once given a consistent schedule. Has the back class to potentially be competitive in HOTY races if that is what you want to do with him.
You like project ponies? This guy is your dude, he decided he would rather run backwards than go anywhere near the winners circle last season. You want a awesome turn around story, here he is. Runs well over turf or dirt when he decides he wants to run. Impeccably well bred just REALLY needs some consistency and I cannot give him that. I gave up on him earlier in the season because no matter where I put him he just ran dead last, so if you can ride out his turtle slow-self for just a little bit while he decides when he's ready to be a race horse again I think he could be potentially very rewarding for someone. Has been on quite a long break so there's hope that maybe he'll just bounce back? Leased to Sunfrost
Flash And Class Flash Limits x Livin' The Dream 6-9 Dirt 5 Year Old Mare I LOVE LOVE LOVE this mare and sadly her career has been heavily affected by a lack of racing. Shes from my first real crop of horses I bred and I hate to see her struggling as much as she is. Again would be one that would benefit from consistency, is really in the shadow of I Bet My Life right now. This is a horse I will run until I cannot run her anymore, just needs to get over that G3 slump that she is presently in. Perfect older horse project for someone lacking an older sprinter in their roster.
Superbad Super Sparky x Golden Roses 5-10 Dual 4 Year Old Mare This one has not frustrated me too much yet but I'm desperate to free up some space so I'll offer her anyways. She's very consistent and has some back-class to boot. Runs well at pretty much any distance in her range and on any surface. All around she's a very nice classy lady. She had a nice full season last year so I'm letting her break for awhile but she will likely pick right back up where she left off.
Spirit Of The Angel Spirit Of Joy x Blood Of The Angel 5-9 Turf 6 Year Old Mare ONE WIN from G2 and has been for nearly a season she just really doesn't want it I guess. Related to Spirit Of Liberty, Constitution, Siren Call, Tears Of Blood, HOF Tears Of The Angel and Hellfire. Her pedigree is STACKED and she has plenty of back class from previous seasons but she was pretty severely underraced her three year old season and not raced at all at four and it's really biting her in the butt right now. Needs someone who will be consistent and is willing to ride out the last place finishes until she decides she is a race horse again. ALL I want is for this mare to hit G1 and retire to my breeding shed and she's making it quite difficult.
Proclamation Attractive Flight x Decelerate 5-8 Dirt 4 Year Old Stallion Related to Constitution through his dam, has had a pretty consistent type of season since his two year old year. Honestly he's one I can probably keep I just NEED to get more of these horses leased out and he's a good option for anyone who has a gap that thinks they can build him up some. I'm pretty confident that he will be struggling in the beginning stages of of the year.
