It might not seem like it, but another year has passed us by here in the Final Furlong community. It has been a thrilling season for us at Blackwood Equestrian, and we look forward to the future. As we are in December it is the time of year that we consider the future of our stock and, of course, this comes with some retirements:

Natural Defiance (G1) after the Breeders' Cup
Eagle Vision (G2)  - possible for the BC

Grand Revival (G3)
Tears Of The Sun (G3)


The following horses are still under consideration, and we welcome feedback on your opinions:

I feel like Orinthia and Head Trip really picked up after they went over to you. Maybe give them a half season and see?

Happy retirement to Executioner!! He's turned into such a cool horse for you, I'm excited to see what he can produce post racing :)

You've done absolutely amazing with Natural Defiance. I am so thrilled to see her become so competitive in your care after such a willy-nilly career start bouncing from home to home. Also, so happy to see Majestic Motion climbing the graded ranks. Whether you decide to retire him or not, I think he could do super things if he ran another year.
